Out Loud! The Metro Library Network Author Series has been successfully presenting authors in the greater Cedar Rapids area since 2008. Each year, the series presents three well-known authors to wide acclaim.

 

Linn Area Reads is a community reading project initiated by the  Metro Library Network to encourage all residents of Linn County to read and discuss the same book. Each spring, a committee of collaborating organizations selects a new title and organizes programs and discussions around its theme.
